A younger Hollyoaks actress who plays a teen clinically determined with cancer will take on this summer time's excellent Manchester Run in assist of The Christie.
Kassius Nelson became inspired to raise money for the charity through her soap character Jade Albright's combat with Hodgkin Lymphoma.
The heart wrenching storyline sees Jade and onscreen boyfriend Alfie Nightingale, performed by using Richard Linnell, as they each find they've cancer and follows the diverse challenges they should face from the disorder.
Kassius, 18, from North London, will be running alongside 1,500 group Christie fundraisers within the Morrison's super Manchester Run on Sunday, can also 22.
The 10k adventure is the largest of it's form in Europe and has seen more than a quarter of a million enthusiastic runners take to the streets of Manchester on the grounds that the run turned into based in 2003.
