WINTERGREEN, Va. (AP) - Atop Wintergreen Mountain sits a 3-story condo with a patio and a steep driveway. internal is a personal museum of collectibles ranging from beautiful dolls, porcelain breakables, dozens of pictures and themed tables set for the current holiday.
The home belongs to ninety four-12 months-ancient Julia Manherz, whose warm and full of life character is as fierce as her fiery crimson hair. Manherz sits in her lounge, catty-nook from a big portrait of her and her late husband, Jack Manherz.
"I've obtained photographs of Jack all over," she spoke of. "He became so beautiful. He appeared like William Holden. He become drop-dead gorgeous and so suit searching."
the two had been married for 47 years, until he died of pancreatic melanoma 15 years in the past.
At her age, she still gets round, even riding a Cadillac to run all of her errands. She wears blue eye shadow and pink lipstick and high heels. A petit girl, she has an elephant-sized reminiscence that includes her career in the movie trade as a assisting actress.
